Specialty TDI Services

Timing Belt Jobs

No matter what TDI you have, Diesel Land can properly perform this important maintenance item. Proper locking tools are used, all wearable components are replaced, and single use fasteners are never reused.

Intakes

All turbo diesel engines with exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) - every TDI; will eventually occlude the intake manifold and EGR valve with soot. This soot, like plaques of cholesterol in an artery, will over time, restrict the airflow to the engine. Your car won't have a heart attack, but it will be slow and suffer from poor fuel economy.

Diesel Land can exchange your sooted up intake for a factory clean one.

You won't find this service in your owners' manual, but the typical interval is somewhere in the 75 - 150 thousand mile range. Driving conditions and fuel have a large impact on how often this service will need to be performed. If in doubt, bring it in, and I'll be happy to check it out.

After cleaning, it is possible through certain hardware and software upgrades to disable the EGR system with no check engine light or loss in fuel efficiency; Just ask.

Fuel Delivery

Leaky pump? Low power? Loud, rough idle? Lotsa Smoke? NO PROBLEM

I don't guess with parts you have to buy, recommend rebuilds that aren't necessary, or strand your car for weeks.

There isn't a diesel specific problem more diesel specific than this, so take it to a diesel specific shop. (ME)
