Check out this time lapse video we took of a limited slip differential install into a 5 speed transmission! Without going into excessive detail a differential helps transmit power to the wheels. With a open differential, found on most stock TDIs, the differential transmits power to the path of least resistance. With a limited slip differential, it transmits power to the path of most traction, providing you with increased wheel power and more control over your car.

We have some excited news as we start the new year! We recently hired a new employee, Taylor, who will be running the office and making sure the shop's operations run smoothly. He'll be answering your phone calls and emails if you would like to schedule an appointment or have any questions about your TDI.
With the addition of Taylor we are also going to make some changes to the site. We'll be adding new pages and info about what's going on at the shop, featured cars, and shop pictures/videos. Stay tuned for updates! I'm expanding to the rest of the shop unit as of June 2014 as well as bringing in Matt Hohnstein to help handle all things TDI related. This is a big step forward. My hope is to offer significantly reduced wait time on the schedule without compromising the outstandingly high quality workmanship I've built this business around.
I'm really excited that I've finally found a bulk source for the VW 507 spec oil required for the '09+ Golf/Jetta TDI and '07+ Touareg TDI. For my customers with year models up to 2008, I have a bulk stock of Schaeffer's supreme 9000 synthetic 5w40...no more wasteful discarding of plastic oil bottles. Period.
